Many years after the fall of the Capitol, Madge Undersee ventured from her hiding spot in the Capitol back to District 12. She visited Katniss’ home in Victor’s Village in hope of finding her long lost “friend” and her husband, but they were already gone. They had long moved away to raise their children. While sifting through the wreck of their home she came across the old Mockingjay Pin she once gave Katniss. It had long been forgotten.
